OBSCURE AND INTRIGUING FACES

Dasha Pliska creates obscure and intriguing pieces always focusing on female human faces surrounded by beautifully intricate frames and halos, partially hidden by flowers or intentionally left incomplete, obscured.
She was born in Odessa, Ukraine, where she currently still lives and works. Her hometown has largely shaped her world with its rich cultural heritage and fascinating architecture. Inspired mostly by nature and her surroundings, Dasha uses pencil and ink in a graphic style to not only create art that can change the way we feel about an idea, but to suffuse a culture with ideological disorder, and to shift the human heart.
