Daron Mouradian

A HALLUCINOGENIC MEMORY

Born in Erevan, Armenia, the paintings of Daron Mouradian are inspired by Armenian culture, combining the civilisations of the East and the West, and including memories of the past (the Middle Ages). Mouradian's world of fantasy is an ever-changing environment where the Bible and Mythology play a major role. “The Art of Daron Mouradian is armed with a hallucinogenic mind. From swarthy gypsies battling flying fish to Rubenesque ladies balancing atop dachshunds, this collection showcases fine art, happy humor, and an appropriate amount of madness combined into one artists imagination.” [In The Art of Daron Mouradian, by Karen Mikaelyan, Fantasmus-Art Aps, 2012.]
